Tech Distillery Power

Hi there! I’m Daniel Stout. Most people call me Dan. If you’ve got a web need, I’ve got a web solution for you.

Tech Distillery is a web consulting and development shop that offers high quality, affordable solutions. We aim to make the web world approachable by distilling technology into an easy-to-understand format. We’re based in the beautiful town of Fitchburg, a suburb of Madison, the Wisconsin state capital.

We build new websites and renovate existing ones. Our focus is on sites running WordPress, which is a flexible and proven platform. In addition to building sites, we provide all manner of consulting and support including:

  • Hacked site triage and cleanup
  • Plugin and theme installation and configuration
  • Overall site optimization
  • Website assessment and improvement plans

We work primarily with nonprofits and artisans. Basically, people and organizations that don’t have dedicated web staff are a good fit for our services.

    Consulting & Tasks

Hourly consulting involves WordPress optimization and enhancement, hacked site triage and cleanup, or website assessment reports. Hourly tasks are piecemeal work such as installing WordPress themes or installing and configuring plugins. My hourly rate is $99/hour, and in the case of tasks that are less than half an hour, I will prorate the amount.

    Web Projects

Projects include building new websites or significantly redeveloping existing sites. Describe your project to me. I’ll do an assessment and provide a quote. The website projects I typically work on run in the $1,500-$5,000 category.
